A message from the producers

After driving mile after mile down the road talking to truckers and listening to stories on the CB, I came to the realization that their stories and way of life must be told. I had two million miles under my belt, and have the same driving blood as other drivers. That is why I wrote “Where Would The World Be”(without the truck driver). I called a friend of mine, Doug Widdifield, and told him about my “vision”. He agreed it is time someone remembered the truck drivers, so we agreed to take this “spiritual journey” together.

First we had to find a singer who would care about the drivers -- a person with integrity, talent, and soul.
Who would have ever thought she would come out of Omaha, Nebraska?

Cori -- is she 5 ft? – (maybe in heels) -- but with talent, and a heart the size of a giant.
We sat and talked about the truckers, their lives and the struggles they face.
She said she cared -- and remembered the times when she was on the road traveling with her bands and the truck drivers were always out there to lend a helping hand.
She shared with us about a member of her family being a trucker.
We all felt it was time to pay respect to the truck drivers.

Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. We always hear about the entertainers, but Vegas is also home to some of the greatest musicians in the world. At this time we would like to acknowledge those that participated on this album and also the engineer “T-bone” at Sonsong Studios. What a massive talent! As we all dove into this project, we were hearing from the musicians and T-bone, "people really need to stop and think about these truck drivers and how important they are in our lives”.

Cori knew she was pulling their heartstrings, and turning lights on in their heads through the music.
She sings this music from her heart because it touches her.
She has drivers in her support team in both the USA and Canada who have invested time and money into this endeavor. They have “put up” and not “shut up”, because they believe in her and her music.
We also want to thank Bill Mack (Satellite Cowboy) for taking the time to write a song for Cori and supporting the truck drivers.

If you drive a truck, you will relate to this music and identify with the lyrics. We felt it was time to unite drivers and their music.
If you are not a driver -- we hope you will enjoy the album -- it has all types of music, for all ages.
This is all original material. Drivers wrote 80% of the songs.

Our hats are off to all men and women drivers, We salute you!

God Bless,
John Long
Doug Widdifield
